pure enchantment… I’m really fond of him. Mad of him. When he was born, I
wanted to keep all the litter, it’s was so marvelous but the reason… I kept
then Thunderbolt, bolt for friends, and Tro Bel Pour Vous, Tina for friends.
Bolt has always been be a lovely nice dog, never a sign of wickedness. An
extraordinary energy, and an exceptional beauty. It’s the kind of dog who
cut your blow. It’s the dog who has had the faster begin of career, the same
as Roxane (French champion at the same age). Four shows and a French title…
Second at the best in show of the French champion terrier show and winner of
the French title at 19 months. The Judge of this championship has been be
impressive by this young dog, this kid, “finally, a Skye with a correct
size…”, he was so impressive that when he came back in England, even my
partner has received some phone call to ask him if he has seen some photos
of this dog. Some people wanted to use Thunderbolt on their bitches, even in
Finland, the place where we are able to find the more beautiful Skyes but
Thunderbolt won’t be mated elsewhere before to have done his proofs at
home. Bolt is like an statue. I put him in static and he is able to stay
like that a long time, a pleasure. He is walking like a little mechanical
and he is flying on a ring with graceful and elegance, a little bit like his
mother, Finland. He is wonderfully well built and he has the things I’m
looking for in a Skye. A Skye must walk with class in a ring, we must think
that he is sliding when he is walking, a little bit like a sorcery with her
big dress on her broom, who should pass near the ground. A Skye mustn’t be
heavy and give an impression of a big mollusc who is there because he is
obliged to. My dog is only at the beginning of his career. His is engaged
for a lot of Big shows and I have the real desire to offered him the
possibility to win a fantastic Prize list. My Bolt is still a baby, with a
heart big like that, a plush et a big tender lover. I’m proud of him, he is
nice to live with and pleasant to look at, we are the best friend in the
world and it’s important to have this complicity to work in the best
conditions. He loves me, follow me everywhere and it’s important to give a
sensation of perfect harmony between the owner and his dog during shows,
the best proof is that he is happy with me. When he will be bored by shows,
without pleasure, he will stop because my dogs, even if I’m proud of them
when I show them, they have the possibility to do what they want to… My bolt
is this kind of little thing who makes my heart beaten at 100 miles per hour
when I’m looking at him. My dog it’s all these things and I’m proud of them…
Of course you are going to say that I think the same things about each of my
dogs… of course, but it’s because they are all important for me for
different reason. Each personality is interesting and it’s for these
reasons I thank them every day to be with me…
