My Lily, my Lilou, my Louloutte, small and already so marvelous and  beautiful… an extraordinary story. Originally previous to be sold, It was so attaching that we decided to keep it among the   joyful troupe of the kennel "Valleys Engissoises."
 At the last moment, Maëva explained us her distress to have to let go the little puppy when she felt that the moment of the separation was arrived. It was time to go to meet her new owners, the appointment was took. She already said  me how unhappy she was but I thought it was not reasonable to keep one dog more. We had already a lot of old dogs, which need a lot of attention and money and we were working during all the day... but it was horrible to see my daughter in this distress,  I could not, I didn’t want  to responsible of her tears…
 I hadn’t enough courage to watch Maset'’, the mother of the pup in the eyes, she seemed so sad and her eyes contained so many accusation “How could I gave her last puppy” she accepted to lose all her litter but the last puppy, she couldn’t... Maset’, who had been snatched all its babies and seemed to watch me with eyes full of accusations…
 I decided to try to explain my  Decision to the new owners, they had understood which pure sentiment I had: this feeling pure and beautiful called love… Taken by surprise, powerless in front of the inevitable. Perhaps this dog, who died just in front of us on this motorway during the trip... gave me the courage to say  " No, I can not for my daughter…… forgive me. "
Life could be so different as our choices… Don’t we use to say that it is better to have regrets that Remorses?
 I know that the previous owners were sad as well even if they understood and  If I had been able to give everything I had compensate for this… but really it was too hard to see My daughter cried for hot tears
and the small dog licking her tears. Actress despite it of a melo dramatic film. She stayed with us and we never regretted it even if  sometimes we think to these peoples. We were happy to learn that they had very quickly another pup from another kennel. Everything found a good end. It helped us  to evacuate our guilt.
I could understand this situation because I have lived a similar experience many years ago. The bitch  Skye I had booked, which I named myself ", Falenn, finally staid with her  breeder who said me few days before it was previous for me to have my pup, that the little Skye had some  health problem. True? none will never know … Perhaps she felt the same sentiment as me when she had to let go her pup???  and could I blame this human feeling?. I was very sad  but life went on. I saw few years after, this breeder, and this bitch. It was absolutely lovely, a very nice dog, which kept the name that I had chosen for her, I never judged her, I respected her choice even if it’was hard for me...We became friends… Maybe it would have been easier for me  to tell to the previous owners of Lily that she had an health problem, to have more easily,  the privilege to keep my baby, but I preferred the truth…
 Lily, will  you be the last dog, of a breeder which told many times she is going to stop breeding  and can’t resist a front of a new puppy’s face?
 Do you know the place already that you took in our hearts, Our lives? With your good character, always happy, your “joie de vivre”, you my little puppy with its with  its glowing eyes???.
 You will grow, we will always be there for you… We love you so much...
 A small black bowl among the others. Lily found its place between all the Skyes adults. The oldest ones protect, love and cuddle her . I will never imagine that my old Skyes would also be nice with this small thing that comes disturb their quiet lives .
 A cure for stress, against boredom and Gloom…
 That's my Lily and it is for that I love her...'
