1999 was certainly one of the most difficult of our breeder
lives. A strong pain, which, almost nine years after is still here.
Anger, consternation after the death, too young, of our
beautiful black bitch, Whimzy, I brought back Whimzy from Spain, after I had received
a phone call
from a Spanish
breeder who doesn’t
want
his Skyes anymore..."
. When I arrived, I saw two little miserable things , Thea
and her mother Whimzy. We were two person to do this rescue,. I took Whimzy
to France and Thea was took by a Spanish. I'll learn later
that Thea staid only few days with this man. he gave her back because he thought
she was too
ill to be interesting... During,
three months,
we've done all
our possible
to save our
bitch but life
was already
gone... She
was too weaked
by years of suffering, She
has never eat
correctly during
its life and
she has no more
strong.... She
was very sick, refuse to eat. We lost finally lose
it after three months of intensive cares. Three months, it is very short but very
long, however... As long enough to let you full of regret
in the
heart, and the strength to know that you want give a part of your life to save
the others.
You are obliged
to think that
no dog, could
live without happiness and good cares ... She has never let us complety,
we kept her
in our mind...
few months after,
I was called
for another rescue, we brought
back her own
alive daughter,
Finland... We will
never let the memory of Whimzy be forgotten. The great lady will slide for ever
forever on
the small kennel of the "Vallees Engissoises ", where it
would have finally been able to be happy if life had helped him.
That is why we decide in his memory to create our association
"Rescue Skye" in 1999, which took another name in 2007, to become
Association of Rescue Scottish
Terriers .
We believe, in fact, that if Skyes need our help, their cousins need it
as well. I thank all the
persons who
follow me in
this fight.. Join

you in advance...
