In the heart of the famous Valley
of the Loire, the Vallees Engissoises Kennel has been built in 1989. We are
really passionated people. After the German shepherd, we have found by the
pure hasard the Skye Terrier and we are really fond of it. We have a serious
idea about what we like in type. We ask to a dog to be well built, to have
good angulations, a good carriage of tail, a long neck, a perfect topline and a good temperament.
The rule of the three "L" Long, Law
and Level. We are driving a lot of kilometers in
a year to show our dogs. We have valided about 50 titles of champion. Our
first origins were French but we have understood quickly that we must import new
blood to progress in now kennel.
We are working with Thea Dalhbom (Finnsky
Kennel) and Allan Chappell (Mariquita kennel) to try to have most perfect Skyes we can find. We prefer black Skyes ...
Our two first foreign bitches are CH Mariquita Braveadition who won the Cruft in 1998. In France she started to
be shown in March 1999 and she became multi champion.
Our second English bitch was Mariquita
Flashporsche. A first show gave a place of best of the third group. She
became multi champion as well. She won the Cruft in 2003 and became top CC
bitch winner in UK in the same year. We are working in reproduction with a daughter of Rannoch Skye Superstar.
She is even multi champion. She won the reserve at the world championship in
Porto ( Sergio Montesinos).She is the mother of few multi champions. One of
our famous male comes from Finnsky kennel. He's multi champion and it's
actually the most title dog in France (9 titles).
We don't product a lot because we
don't want to be a puppy mill. When we have a litter it 's because we found
an interesting wedding. We study a lot of bloodlines and try to have a
maximum of information of each dog who are in the pedigree.
